SFH3 has been invited to join the volunteers of the California Native Plant Society to pull invasive Radish plants from the grasslands on Bernal Hill.  Meet at the end of Bernal Heights Blvd. near the only water fountain in the park.  SF Rec and Park will provide tools and gloves, water and snacks.  If you have your own gardening gloves, bring them.  Wear shoes/boots with good grip, the grass slopes can be very slippery even when dry.  Long sleeves and long pants are not a must (no blackberry), but there are thistle and other prickly things hiding in the grass,  I realize that this is a WORK day for most of you, but there will be BEER after the workday.

 

The workday will start at noon and go until 2:30 or 3:00 PM.  Since not many hashers are able to make it, I will drive anyone who wants a ride.
