Hashers, I know that this is a very late notice, but here goes anyway.  Tomorrow is the first Saturday of the month and therefore it’s the day to volunteer in McLaren Park.  The plan for the day was to do some prep for planting native plants in the Grey Fox Creek area for the first hour.  Following that, the group was to attend and provide input to a Rec and Park Capital Division meeting on spending of bond funds in McLaren Park.  The meeting was specifically looking at the paths and trails part of the bond funding.  Hash volunteers have worked in at least two areas that were to be discussed.  The meeting was to have been held outdoors in the patio area of Coffman Pool, at the border of the park.  The rain forecast has caused the meeting to be postponed and moved to Zoom.

Hashers do not melt, so the workday is still on. We will meet in the main parking lot for the Jerry Garcia Amphitheater at 9:30 AM.  We will work until noon or until things get too wet to continue.  As always, dress in layers.  Long pants and sleeves are recommended, just in case the prep involves pulling Blackberry.  SF Rec and Park will provide tools and gloves, water and snacks.  SFH3 will provide BEER.

RSVP if possible.  If you arrive late, there will be a chalk and flour trail to the worksite.  I will also provide rides from Glen Park BART Station to the parking lot.

The Zoom meeting will happen Tuesday 12-6 at 6:00 PM.
